Everything you need to know before getting started.
Doorkeep is designed to err on the side of caution. If there's any doubt about urgency or complexity, it tries to connect you with full context. If you're unavailable, it takes a detailed message and sends an instant alert. For anything it can't handle confidently, same thing: message taken, you're notified immediately. We'd rather wake you for one false alarm than miss something real.
Residents can always ask to speak with someone. If your rules allow transfers, Doorkeep connects them with context. If the person isn't available, Doorkeep takes a detailed message and notifies you immediately. When a potential emergency is detected, Doorkeep routes the call to your on-call contact. Most residents prefer an immediate answer at 2am over waiting for a callback.
Starter is $179/month billed monthly, or $149/month billed annually ($1,788/year, saving $360). Professional is $399/month billed monthly, or $349/month billed annually ($4,188/year, saving $600). Starter includes 100 call minutes a month; Professional includes 300, plus call lists with multiple people for call rotation, Staff Contacts (maintenance techs and contractors on your call lists without a login), and reporting with per-property breakdowns. Both plans include per-property knowledge bases.
None. Your monthly plan includes unlimited properties, unlimited team members, and all core features. No setup fees, no per-seat charges. If you exceed your included minutes, additional usage is billed at $1.50 per minute on Starter and $2.00 per minute on Professional.
Upload your property info, customize your greeting, and you're ready to take calls. No technical setup required.
Cancel anytime from your dashboard. No contracts, no penalties. You keep full access through your current billing period. We'd appreciate feedback, but there's no obligation to stay.
Yes. You can access doorkeep.co and log in anytime from your phone. The entire interface is mobile-optimized, so you can manage calls, update settings, and review activity on the go.
All connected call time. That includes the AI conversation, hold time, and the transfer leg when Doorkeep connects a caller to you or your team. If the line is connected, the clock is running. There is no separate rate for different parts of a call.
We get it: busy months happen, especially during leasing season. If you exceed your included minutes, additional usage is billed at $1.50 per minute on Starter and $2.00 per minute on Professional, on your next invoice.
Your annual subscription covers your base plan for the full year. In the rare event you exceed your included minutes in a given month, overages are invoiced separately at the end of that month. Most months, there's nothing extra to pay.
Absolutely. You can upgrade at any time. If you're on an annual plan, we'll prorate the difference.
No. Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime. Annual plans are paid upfront for the year at the lower annual rate: $149/month for Starter and $349/month for Professional.
