Call your tenants directly in Doorkeep
Without further ado, Doorkeep customers can now make a phone call using your shared Doorkeep phone number right inside your browser.
For a while now Doorkeep has offered advanced call forwarding for incoming phone calls. This has been a powerful efficiency for customers who want to be sure the right person answers a tenant’s call in a timely manner. However, up until now if you wanted to call that tenant back using your Doorkeep phone number you could not do that. Until now…
That’s why I’m so excited to announce the latest calling feature: Click to Call (or answer).

How Click to Call Works
Using Click to Call is as simple as it sounds:
If you are a Doorkeep Complete customer, you already have it. Nothing left to do.
- Log in to your Doorkeep web app.
- Navigate to your contacts list or that contact’s conversation.
- Click on the contact you want to call.
- Incoming phone call? Just click answer or ignore.
- The call will be initiated directly from your web app.
Details matter
Its hard to remember everyone’s name at your properties, no matter how hard you try. But you remember the property, the unit number, etc. This is why any in app phone call will always show you the property and if the unit is available first. We display the name of the contact if its available secondary.
