When you call your property's Doorkeep AI assistant and verbally request that information be sent to you via text message, you provide express consent to receive that specific SMS at the phone number you are calling from.
When you speak with Doorkeep's AI assistant by phone and ask to receive information via text message, you consent to receive that SMS at the phone number you are calling from. Before sending, the assistant will confirm the number on file, state that you will receive one text containing the requested information, inform you that you can reply STOP at any time to opt out, and note that standard message and data rates may apply.
The following is a representative example of how verbal consent is collected during a call:
Doorkeep AI Assistant: “I can text you the listing details for 1420 Pine Street. Would that be helpful?”
Caller: “Yes, please.”
Doorkeep AI Assistant: “I'd like to confirm your number. Is 3-0-3, 5-5-5, 1-2-3-4 the best one to reach you?”
Caller: “Yes.”
Doorkeep AI Assistant: “Sending that now. You'll receive one text with the listing. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out. Standard message and data rates may apply.”
Consent is recorded in the call audio and transcript as the business record of your consent.
Each text message request during a call constitutes a separate, individual opt-in for that specific message.
Messages are only sent when you explicitly request them during a phone conversation. There are no automatic or recurring messages.
