Thanksgiving can run like after hours, and you hear about it first.
It is 10 AM on Thanksgiving and a tenant calls about a leak. Until now, Doorkeep ran the day like any other Thursday and rang your office list, the people least likely to pick up today.
Holiday hours is a new section under Call windows. Switch it on and the holidays you choose run on your default coverage all day, exactly like after hours. It is off until you turn it on.
The big four start on. Turn on Holiday hours and Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day are already switched on. Every other federal holiday, plus the day after Thanksgiving, is one switch away, and you can add a date of your own, like an office closure.

You hear about it ten days out. Before each holiday you get an email and a text saying it runs like after hours and who will ring. One link changes it. Nothing to do if it looks right.
Your on-call people hear about it two days out. Everyone else Doorkeep will ring that day gets a text: "You're on call for Pinnacle Property Management on Thanksgiving, Thu, Nov 26. Doorkeep will ring you for urgent tenant calls."
Pick who covers holidays. On Pro, holidays can ring a different list while your weekday list stays put. If nobody on that list can take a transfer, Doorkeep rings your usual list instead.
Emergencies do not change. A holiday changes when after-hours handling applies and who rings. Emergency handling is the same as every other day.
Holiday hours is on every plan. A separate holiday list is part of Doorkeep Pro.
